Do you accept insurance?

While we do not accept assignment on insurance except for highly specific incidences we are happy to bill your insurance carrier for reimbursement that is paid directly to you. The ultimate responsibility for payment rests with the patient.

What is the cost?

The cost of medication, shipping and other fees vary by patient.
The initial consultation and set up of a patient’s information and medical records is $450.00 and is ALWAYS due in advance of the initial consultation.

Is a web cam required?

Since our program is telemedicine and quarterly consultations are a requirement as well as the bi-annual exam, a webcam is absolutely required.

Is your program just prescribing pills?

Our program is all inclusive. Before a person can become a patient a complete history is taken and medical records no older than 1 year are required. Because chronic pain syndromes affect more than just the physical body there are times when the efforts of our pain specialist has to be coordinated with a family physician or other specialist.

Can I fax you my medical records?

Absolutely. If you do not have a way to scan them in and e-mail them to us or you do not want to mail them to us.

What kind of medication do you prescribe?

By law we are only allowed to prescribe Schedule III and IV drugs. If you need to know about a specific one you can ask us in an email and we will get back with you within 24-48 hours. AESOP Inc. does not have have a financial interest in any of the products or services recommended.

Why do I need a toxicology screen?

A toxicology screen is required because we need to insure there is not already a high opiate level in your bloodstream. Too many simultaneous pain medications can be very dangerous and even fatal.

What do I do in the case I encounter an emergency?
